Gold Coast business owners can now take advantage of small business coaching and mentoring subsidised by the Queensland Government?s ?small business solutions? programme. The programme is for start up businesses right through to experience business owners.

In a nutshell, small business owners and managers receive 21 hours of mentoring, coaching and business support for just $350 thanks to the Queensland Government rather than the normal cost of $4000. The main outcomes are the development and implementation of their business/strategic plan and a nationally accredited qualification (Certificate 1V in Small business management)

The next course is commencing on the Gold Coast beginning 12 June and is limited to 10 places only so register now.

The course is ideal for those beginning or those needing to refresh their business skills covering areas such as:

  • legal requirements
  • small business finances
  • marketing
  • small business planning
  • customer service strategies

What Each Workshop Will Cover With Dr Edward Gifford

The workshops are in 3 hour blocks and what each workshop will cover are:Dr Edward Gifford

  1. Establish legal and risk management requirements of small business. Plan small business finances. Market the small business.
  2. Undertake small business planning. Monitor and manage small business operations. Co-ordinate business resources.
  3. Manage small business finances. Develop work priorities. Manage personal, family, cultural and business obligations.
  4. Co-ordinate implementation of customer service strategies. Address customer needs. Build and maintain relationships with small business stakeholders.
  5. Establish networks. Promote products and services. Undertake marketing activities.

You may have already met Dr Edward Gifford at a GCNCC function as he is a coach, trainer, speaker and author. With 40 years experience in education, consultancy and research, Edward specialises in coaching and the training of executive, life, and business coaches.

Edward focus?s on business development for small and medium businesses, strategic thinking, team building, workplace and executive coaching and building leadership capacity and capability with managers. His passion and ability to enthuse, empower and equip businesses achieve success will ensure that these workshops will greatly assist you in taking your business to the next level.

Since 1999, Edward has been running his own coaching; training and consulting company in Queensland called On-Purpose Partners.?
